The only thing that’s better than the caliber of Nothing But NET’s service are the people who are on the front lines and behind the scenes making it happen. The Nothing But NET leadership team is as much talented as they are dedicated, creative as they are driven. Although you will get to know us pretty well as we work hard to meet all of your IT needs, here are a few things you might not know about the team behind your success.
Bob Cox, Co-Founder & President
Bob co-founded Nothing But NET in 2001 when he decided to shoot for the moon and create a company offering an exceptional client experience not easily found in the marketplace. Today, his award-winning endeavor has exceeded his every expectation. He’s attended too many technology schools and certification programs to count including UC Berkeley, and has been in the industry since 1988.
What’s your favorite part of NBN?
The greatest pleasure I get from this company is receiving phone calls or emails from our clients – new or longstanding — sharing positive experiences on a technician’s performance or resolution of a technical issue. I get a feeling of genuine pride that we removed an obstacle that was causing pain to a fellow business person. We promptly share such feedback with our team because we feel it’s so valuable to recognize each and every victory, however small, because I feel such shared expressions are contagious.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Spending time with my family – and our German Shephard, Bruno – brings such joy to me. Also, as a huge booster for my kids’ East Valley schools, it isn’t uncommon to find me pitching in for my daughter’s Girl Scout Cookie drive or moving the chains at my son’s high school football game on a Friday night. Family time is very precious to me, as it is to all of us.
What inspires you?
Our team has numerous non-profit organizations within our portfolio, and we are constantly humbled by the personal achievements we see, firsthand, by those less fortunate. To witness how everyday challenges – trials that many of us dare not even fathom – are championed with the help of such selfless professionals and volunteers, it truly gives me pause and a deep sense of pride that we are helping make their task just a little easier.
What is something about you that others may not know?
I find myself in over my head trying to repair my vintage 1964 Pontiac convertible.
What is something you are most proud of?
My greatest accomplishment was convincing my wonderful wife, Donna, to marry me. And what brings me the greatest sense of pride is watching our children grow. It happens so fast.

Steve Brown, Co-Founder & Vice President
Steve is the co-founder of Nothing But NET, and joined forces with Bob when they realized they shared a similar vision for fusing both the professional and relational aspects of business to create repeated client success. He’s a graduate of ASU (go Devils!) and has had a successful career in IT spanning more than 20 years.
What’s your favorite part of NBN?
I love working with the people at NBN. You can’t work with people 40 hours a week for years and not have a close relationship. Being a competitive person, I also enjoy the challenge of finding solutions to things that are said to be impossible.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
I love spending time with family as well as working out, and I especially enjoy it when I can do both at the same time. Taking spin classes and hiking are two of my favorite activities. I also enjoy just about any competitive activity and dominating the competition.
What inspires you?
People that push themselves to be the best they can be.
What is something about you that others may not know?
I am an Ironman!
What is something you are most proud of?
I am proud of the way my wife and I have raised our children to be productive citizens, but more importantly to be confident, honest and caring people.

Blas Gallegos, Director – Technical Support
Blas brings 25 years of experience to the Nothing But NET team, working previously for companies like Lockheed Martin and ACS. His wealth of expertise has further helped to stake NBN’s place amongst the top MSP’s in the country.
What’s your favorite part of NBN?
I enjoy learning new things, have a passion for technology, and find it very difficult to give up when solving a problem. Being part of the NBN team, I get all three of these opportunities on a daily basis.
What do you like to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I can be found in my garden, on a kayak, paddle board, motorcycle or a sailboat.
What inspires you?
My father was an awesome individual. He helped people anytime he got the chance. If I can help half as many people as he did, I’d be making a noticeable dent in the world.
What is something about you that others may not know?
I fly racing drones.
What is something you are most proud of?
My wonderful family.
